Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for Linux System Engineer for a full-time position in Poland.

Responsibilities:

  • Debugging various applications - system, companies and 3rd party ones
  • Patching code, modifying build systems of our components, and configuring applications such as Linux kernel, U-boot and system
  • Maintaining packages for multiple systems and environment for all developers
  • Various performance testing

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of basic Linux tools and systems (i.e. systemd)
  • Linux firmware compilation experience
  • Firmware modification on per-request/per-manufacturer/per-project basis
  • Crosscompilation of projects using different SDKs and aiming at various targets - from toolchain to applications
  • Management and development of Docker containers
  • Management and development of packages for Yocto/OpenWRT/Debian
  • Build scripting and automation (bash/python/...)
  • Understanding of coredumps and kernel dumps for debugging and tracing
  • Knowledge of Linux kernel, U-Boot
  • Continuous integration, experience with git
  • At least basic knowledge of C/C++
