Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a QA Lead for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine.
Our client is a leading labor marketplace for IT field service, connecting companies and skilled technicians to do great work. They match contract IT and other freelancers with corporate clients through an online marketplace of 100,000 service providers. Businesses can grow their service offerings by building and deploying a flexible field services workforce in geographies across the U.S. and Canada, and technicians can find work that fits their schedule and skill set.
The client’s mobile app provides real-time work order tracking, the ability to negotiate counteroffers, access to payment history, signature capture, and document uploading. They enable companies to find, hire, and pay contractors anywhere and efficiently manage their workforce. Founded in 2008, the company is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

POSITION OVERVIEW
- We are seeking professionals with a strong background in leading or designing Quality Engineering initiatives.
- We need someone who can take a comprehensive view of our product and develop an effective strategy and plan.
- Our current automated testing tools include Playwright, Cucumber, and BrowserStack, but we’re open to exploring and adopting improved or alternative solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years of general QA experience
- 5+ years of experience as AQA (Python and/or Javascript) and corresponding testing frameworks like Playwright, Cucumber
- 2+ years of QA leading experience which involves doing the audit of a current situation with testing on the project, defining testing strategy, selecting tools for testing, collaborating with other teams like DevOps regarding improvement of a testing strategy and processes
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer science or related fields
- Hands-on experience working in an Agile environment
- At least an upper-intermediate level of English
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (at least on a high level)
- Perfect communication and collaboration skills
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To assist in the design and delivery of the team’s overall testing methodology, have a wide understanding of testing methodologies, procedures, and techniques.
- Have the capacity to monitor the testing function’s efficiency and make adjustments based on insights acquired through analysis at all stages of the SDLC/STLC.
- Determine which tools and technologies can be deployed, keeping in mind what is already in use throughout the development function and the team’s skill set.
- Develop the test automation framework, harnesses, and code libraries so that the team can utilize and improve them across many projects.
- Take charge of test infrastructure, including environments and software, and collaborate with teams like DevOps and Support on CI/CD and IT budgets.
