Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Back End Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. A crucial aspect of this position is the ability to work within cross-functional squads, collaborating closely with team members across various disciplines to deliver innovative solutions.
Tech Stack:
- Backend: Python, OpenAPI, Celery + RabbitMQ, Django + SQLAlchemy;
- Frontend: React + TypeScript, OpenAPI, Playwright;
- QA Automation: Playwright + TypeScript, Selenium + Python;
- DB: PostgreSQL, Redis;
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Jenkins;
- Infrastructure: k8s+Terraform+Helm, Azure, Heroku, GCP.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python, Django, and PostgreSQL.
- Comprehensive understanding of the web development process: design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- The ability to plan, track, and ensure timely delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate within squads.
Nice to have:
- Experience in Frontend development, with proficiency in React with TypeScript.
- The ability to manage development projects from conception to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain applications collaborating within cross-functional squads: engineers, designers, and product managers.
- Actively participate in squad meetings to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Ensure applications’ performance, quality, and responsiveness, leveraging cross-functional expertise to address complex challenges.
- Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and contribute to improving code quality and test automation within a team-oriented environment.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the web development team.
