Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Costa Rica. Our client is a company that develops an AI-driven screen content management solution that has been in the industry for 11 years. The company currently specializes in broadcast media. A remote control stick enables users to manage, personalize, and showcase practice content with promotions, events, and announcements. The brand partners constantly update the content library, so you’ll never need to track down new videos again. You can choose from hundreds of brands and thousands of videos that are perfect for your practice. Their Smart TV apps on Google TV (Android) and Roku app stores represent about 50% of Smart TVs in the US. Its headquarters is located in California, USA.
Requirements
- 6+ years of expertise in automation QA.
- Experience in implementing automation testing processes on the project from the ground up.
- Strong knowledge of Java or JavaScript (the back-end part is on Java, and the front-end is on Vue.js).
- Extensive knowledge of software testing methodology, including design and execution of manual and automation tests.
- Experience in hardware testing ( at least on a high level).
- Understanding of testing web ( ideally, UI and backend) and mobile (Android) systems.
- Prior experience working with databases and SQL.
- Upper-intermediate-level of English.
Nice to have
- Experience in testing of SmartTV app and advertisements.
- Familiarity with AWS.
Responsibilities
- Build up the QA processes from the ground up.
- Create the roadmap for the QA process improvements.
- Create a test strategy/test plan.
- Own the design, development, and execution of test plans and test cases for multiple features.
- Review and analyze product requirements, ensuring conformity with design guidelines.
