Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for Senior Software Engineer/Automation testing for a full-time position (40 per hours per week) in Ukraine. We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our dynamic and highly motivated Software Engineering Group. The individual will be expected to support development of application software that encompasses the radiotherapy process for the world first MRI image guided Radiation Therapy system. He or she will be a key member of the software team responsible for ensuring high quality standards across our product suite and own the test automation infrastructure, with a goal of stability, reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the engineering and product teams to create the testing strategy, identify components for automation, design, write and execute the test cases for  Treatment Planning and Delivery applications (C++, C#/WPF/WCF applications);
  • Be responsible to the software development team for incorporating testability during application design;
  • Set test automation standards, review the existing framework for adherence;
  • Analyze new features; estimate and develop the automation testing strategy; design, implement and execute the automated tests;
  • Provide analysis of product quality and deliver test metrics;
  • Document the test automation framework;
  • Work with the team on creating an overall software quality strategy, review software specifications, create and execute test plans at various milestones;
  • Locate the root cause of hard to reproduce issues, using automation where necessary for stress testing.

Requirements:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study required;
  • 1 + years of experience with hands-on coding and development;
  • Expertise with one or more test automation tools mandatory;
  • Expertise with one or more test automation frameworks mandatory;
  • Experience unit testing using NUnit and/or WinUnit a plus;
  • Understanding of REST and demonstrated automation experience with REST APIs testing is a plus;
  • Experience testing SDKs and APIs;
  • Experience executing and coordinating integration, system, regression and user-acceptance testing;
  • Verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proficiency with C/C++ programming and multi-threaded applications;
  • Proficiency with developing .NET Windows applications with demonstrated knowledge of object-oriented programming and UML modeling for design;
  • Strong analytic skills to breakdown the complicated issues into subsystem levels by analyzing the errors messages, log files and system behaviors and provide the feedback to the developers;
  • Image processing experience is desired, but not required;
  • Knowledge of formal software lifecycle processes necessary for software development in an FDA-regulated medical device development environment a strong plus.
