TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER (observability domain)

The customer has multiple container platforms; AWS ECS, home grown Kubernetes and managed Kubernetes using AKS and EKS. This project is designed to move existing workloads from ECS and home grown Kubernetes to our customized flavor of managed kubernetes.

• 4+ years professional experience in a Project Management Office and holds a relevant project management certification
• The candidate should have experience leading with the scale of the project and technical expertise in the observability domain.
• Observability experience (some of the following key technologies: Prometheus, Influx, Grafana, Telegraf, statsd, Elastic Ocservability, Logstash, Kibana, Open Telemetry, New Relic, Data Dog, Dynatrace etc)
• Experience in managing projects involving modern SDLC methodologies and Agile/Scrum practices
• Proven track record of driving large scale technical projects involving many teams organizations while many of the people are distributed around the world
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with cross-team dependencies and conflicting priorities
• Strong sense of service ownership and personal accountability, and a well developed bias for action
• Passion for excellence, and is a natural and analytical problem solver. You should enjoy digging deep to understand issues and like solving hard problems, taking a data-driven approach
• Communication skills, ability to lead teams to achieve clearly-articulated and measurable outcomes
• Experience in Jira, Confluence, Asana, Excel, Project, Tableau and similar tools

Knowledge of SRE, Cloud Engineering, DevOps and Security practices and experience working with leading cloud service providers and data center environments

• Driving a technical project and meet the customer's expectation
• Holding Agile meetings and working sessions to assess their effectiveness

• Risks identification and assessment
