Remote, USA

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a UX Designer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in the USA. Our client is an on-demand fuel management, tax automation, and compliance software provider. They deliver innovative, scalable, cloud-based fuel logistics solutions that streamline fuel distribution. Fuel retailers, wholesalers, and haulers gain real-time visibility and paperless control of fuel buying, dispatching, and reconciliation on any device - desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone. The fuel management system integrates all major suppliers, distributors, terminals, and price feeds in one standard fuel supply chain by automating all aspects of the fuel management process, from procurement, inventory management, demand forecasting, strategic sourcing, financial reconciliation, and margin analysis, and environmental compliance monitoring. The client provides industry-leading software and services to suppliers, distributors, convenience stores, carriers, and fleets that manage transportation fuels worldwide. It delivers operational and financial value for companies responsible for more than 30 billion gallons of gasoline and diesel annually. You will design, build, and maintain software solutions committed to delivering quality solutions on time that meet or exceed the needs of the client’s internal and external customers. As a User Experience (UX) Designer, you will work with a team of professionals passionate about systems thinking and iteratively transforming products into modern user experiences. They believe designers have a significant voice in defining any successful digital initiative. As a team member, you will collaborate with multiple UX designers, domain subject matter experts, project management, and engineering to develop original UX concepts and guide projects from idea to launch.

  • At least 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer or a similar background in user experience, design, research, or a related field.
  • Feel comfortable collaborating with multiple UX designers simultaneously.
  • Thought leadership with solid knowledge of UX processes, tools, storytelling, and best practices to apply to various products.
  • Expertise in crafting end-to-end customer experiences by collaborating with and influencing partner teams to enable good user experiences holistically.

  • Perform problem-solving in an ambiguous environment:

  • Participate in strategy and roadmap conversations in close collaboration with product and engineering partners to evolve and mature the design system and the UX function and meet the client’s business goals.
  • Define scope and influence cross-functionally:
  • Partner with cross-functional team members in conceptualizing and delivering internal and external solutions.
  • Participate in PI Planning; help SCRUM teams plan capacity for UX enablers and research activities.

  • Create high-quality interaction design to improve ease of use, discoverability, and comprehension while meeting requirements and timelines and telling the story of the work.
  • Leverage and contribute to the established design system, style guide, patterns, and assets in creating UX analysis, solutions, and deliverables.
  • Work directly with the engineering teams to align with platform best practices and implementation details.
  • Deliver user advocacy and mindset:
  • Actively contribute to the broader UX community within the org, mentoring and developing others, leveraging your strengths to help others unfamiliar with UX grow.
  • Communicate designs and strategies persuasively and concisely to all functions and levels, including executives.
  • Design for specific outcomes such as activation, retention, wayfinding, error handling, or churn prevention.
  • Help define and embed benefit hypotheses into features with product owners.
