Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for an AI Director for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Poland. Our client is an online marketing company headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts. It provides email marketing, social media marketing, event marketing, and online survey tools to help small organizations grow their businesses by building stronger customer relationships.

As an industry leader in permission-based online marketing, the client partners with leading online and social media marketing solutions providers.
This technical leadership role will lead the AI/ML engineering teams and work closely with products to identify opportunities for AI integration, prioritize cutting-edge projects, and ensure the successful delivery of AI/ML solutions that enhance the digital marketing product for small and medium businesses. We’re seeking someone with a strong technical background in AI and machine learning and a strategic mindset to drive business growth through technological advancements in AI.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (8+ years) working to deliver complex software engineering initiatives.
- Medium-sized SaaS delivery commercial experience.
- Technical leading experience in AI area for SaaS products in particular.
- Experience with LLM applications, including prompt engineering, RAG, agents.
- Hands-on experience with AWS AI services.
- At least 5 years experience in machine learning/data science, with a proven track record of delivering successful AI/ML projects.
- Deep knowledge of AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and tools and up-to-date understanding of the latest trends in AI.
- Proficiency in Python for AI/ML and API implementation.
- Demonstrated experience in working with large datasets and data analytics.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring technical teams.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- At least an upper-intermediate level of English/
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy and vision combining Generative AI, analytics, and data to drive technical innovations and magical product experiences.
- Design, architect, and aid in the delivery of AI solutions through to production deployment as an integral part of the engineering team.
- Identify key areas where AI can provide competitive advantages and improve marketing outcomes for small to medium businesses.
- Define best AI/ML practices and AI lifecycle and maintain data privacy and security while implementing AI solutions.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing and new product features.
- Communicate AI strategies, progress, and results to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
