Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Database Reliability Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in DBRE or database automation.
- Understanding of AWS and/or Azure
- Expertise in automation using (Chef is preferred).
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-code software tool (Terraform is preferred).
- Experience with PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience in MSSQL administration for:
- Failover Clusters;
- Always On Availability Groups;
- TDE (Transparent Data Encryption);
- Multi-server administration;
- VLDB (4+ TB);
- Database Compression.
Nice to have
- Experience with query plan analysis.
- Experience with data/cost analysis.

- Identify performance bottlenecks and improve the performance.
- Root cause analysis of performance and scalability issues, resolving issues quickly.
- Provide database automation.
- Run database administration.
