Svitla Systems is a US company with Ukrainian roots. That is why we actively support several social projects that assist local Ukrainian community in San Francisco and the Bay Area. One of them is ‘Ridna Shkola’, a unique Sunday Ukrainian school for children and youth, mostly engaging Ukrainian diaspora and welcoming other communities.

Svitla Systems’ CEO, Natalia Anon, is one of several school co-founders who put their efforts into ‘Ridna Shkola’, where kids can advance their knowledge of the Ukrainian language, culture, and traditions. Nataliya volunteers to teach Ukrainian language and literature classes. She designs the school curriculum to introduce children to the most prominent Ukrainian authors. Between lessons, students have lunch and breaks, enjoy various physical exercises and a very popular cooking class, where they prepare and taste traditional Ukrainian meals.

Celebrating holidays like Easter, Christmas, St. Nikolas Day, Independence Day, Holodomor Commemoration, Taras Shevchenko Days also brings new and exciting experience in discovering Ukrainian culture and traditions. Additionally, kids take part in various charitable projects, such as sending toys and clothing to orphans in Ukraine.
