Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Java Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Mexico|Costa Rica. It primarily serves the automotive industry, providing solutions to dealers, insurers, repairers, and fleet managers. They serve over 300,000 global customers and partners in 100+ countries.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of Java development experience, with practical Spring Boot knowledge.
- Understanding of RESTful services and API development.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude with a problem-solving mindset.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with PrimeFaces, Angular, and ReactJS.
- Experience in an Agile development environment
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain web and backend applications.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features.
- Investigate and resolve bugs and performance issues.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Contribute to building efficient CI/CD pipelines.
- Work closely with the Agile team to deliver timely tasks and improve processes.
