Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for an Odoo ERP Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in India (Pune, Bangalore). Our client is a leading platform dedicated to carbon removal, providing services to corporations aiming to neutralize their carbon emissions. It mobilizes the world’s economy to reward carbon net-negative emissions. Their primary offering is the CO₂ Removal Certificate (CORC), a tradable carbon credit representing one metric ton of CO₂ removed and verified. These certificates are issued based on rigorous, science-based quantification methodologies. The company has developed methodologies for various carbon removal methods, including biochar, carbonated materials, terrestrial storage of biomass, enhanced rock weathering, and more. Each methodology defines system boundaries, formulas for calculating carbon removal, environmental safeguards, and the necessary documentation for independent verification.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing Odoo ERP (both frontend and backend).
- Knowledge of JavaScript, Python, HTML, CSS, SCSS, Bootstrap, and XML.
- Good understanding of the Odoo framework, modules, and customization.
- Knowledge of software development best practices and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Implement new features based on tickets and business requirements.
- Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules to meet client needs.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in existing applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and QA.
- Optimize the performance of existing Odoo systems.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Stay updated with the latest Odoo releases and development trends.
