Position overview
- The team is looking for a data expert to join their Data team. The work involves partnering with major brands, strategic consulting firms, and global marketing agencies.
- They transform billions of mobile location signals into context-rich business intelligence, combined with purchasing and first-party data, to help their clients enhance customer experiences, boost sales, and optimize business operations.
- Their Data Analysts play a critical role in connecting our vast data pool with the business needs of their customers — creating intuitive and valuable insights.
- This role will work closely with the engineering, product, sales, and marketing organizations to get to the bottom of hard data questions, ensure data quality, and identify opportunities that will shape the direction of the company.

- The client’s time zone is EST, the overlap is till 21:00 UA time / 20:00 CET (working day – 8hrs/day).
Technical expertise
- Experience in core data science activities: extracting data from SQL data stores,
exploratory data analysis, data visualization, and reporting - Experience working with big data technologies, mobile, and location-based data
- Experience working with large datasets and expertise in SQL;
- Experience with AWS, Python, or R.
- Experience with geospatial analysis and spatial data is highly desirable.
- Solid foundational knowledge of descriptive and predictive statistics
- Proficient with Unix commands and regular expressions
- Experience with BI and data visualization tools (Tableau (preferable), Qlik, Power BI, Looker, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ work experience as a Quantitative Analyst or comparable role.
- Degree in an analytical field with coursework in statistics (e.g. Math, Linguistics, Econ, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering)
- Experience with BI and data visualization tools (Tableau (preferable), Qlik, Power BI, Looker, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
- Strong competence in analyzing data and turning it into a communicable value
proposition - Proven track record of an investigative mindset, getting to the core of hard data
problems - A perfectionist for getting analyses correct; a pragmatist for getting things done on time
- Problem-solving, analytical skills, and decision making
- Can innovatively approach problems, exhibiting the aptitude to think quickly
- Flexible, self-motivated, proactive out-of-the-box, and critical thinker
- An upper intermediate level of English (spoken and written) is a must.
