Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Delphi Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine.
Our client is a multinational corporation headquartered in Sweden, specializing in security products, mainly entrance control and safe storage. They offer solutions to customers primarily in public transport, public and commercial buildings, banking, high-end retail, and industrial and high-risk sites through 25 country locations and in more than 100 markets worldwide.
Entrance control products include speed gates, turnstiles, and other entrance systems that only allow entry to authorized individuals. The safe storage includes safes, safe deposit lockers, and strongrooms. Safes can also be constructed to withstand fire and, therefore, can also carry a fire protection grade.
The client operates globally, providing innovative products, software, and services to control the flow of valuables and people.
Overall Job Purpose
- Perform device integrations and backend services using Delphi.
- Troubleshoot and support Delphi-based system software.
- Provide post-production support and ensure system stability.
- Develop and maintain the user interface (UI) for smooth interaction with the backend systems.
- Ensure seamless integration between the frontend and backend.
- Develop and manage middleware to facilitate communication between devices and backend systems.
- Ensure smooth data flow between devices, middleware, and the backend.
- Implement and support device connectivity using protocols like RS232, RS485, CAN, and MQTT.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of Delphi, SQL.
- Excellent knowledge of M2M communication protocols and interfaces like RS232, RS485, CAN, MQTT, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and Azure DevOps.
- Excellent skills in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Fundamental skills in Artificial Intelligence.
- Deep technical knowledge about software, operating systems, and cloud technology.
- Self-driven and thereby also actively seeks and executes continuous process improvement.
- Team player with the ability to manage stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience with EN/UL/PCI security-certified security products.
Responsibilities
- Build and implement device integrations and backend services using Delphi, interfacing with hardware and software modules, and databases.
- Develop and maintain middleware to facilitate seamless communication and data flow between devices and backend systems.
- Implement and support device connectivity using various protocols, including RS232, RS485, CAN, and MQTT.
- Develop and maintain the user interface (UI) to ensure smooth interaction with backend systems and seamless frontend-backend integration.
- Develop, code, test, and troubleshoot Delphi-based system software.
- Troubleshoot and support system software, including software QA and optimizing I/O performance.
- Analyse, monitor, and improve system efficiency and stability.
- Provide post-production support and ensure overall system stability.
- Interface with hardware design and development operations.
- Support operations and infrastructure to ensure profitability and meet contracted service level agreements.
