Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Poland. Our client is an innovative San Francisco-based company that developed a software attack surface optimization platform to help organizations minimize cyberattacks. The company’s platform reduces vulnerability and patch management backlog and prioritizes AI-powered risk management, enabling businesses to mitigate known and unknown vulnerabilities in workloads. This software attack surface optimization platform remediates 95% of software vulnerabilities in minutes without code changes. It reduces development costs and shortens release cycles while ensuring compliance with federal and industry regulations. The solution integrates seamlessly with existing workflows and technology stacks, making it a versatile option for various organizations. It is designed to work with open-source software, reducing the risks associated with software supply chains.

Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, with a deep understanding of Docker/Kubernetes, including their ecosystem and orchestration.
- Strong knowledge of Linux.
- Proven experience building test infrastructure in containerized environments.
- Understanding CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Python, Go, and Bash.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ideally Terraform.
- Strong understanding of container quality, security, and optimization workflows.
- Experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks (specifically for containers or packages).
- Experience with metrics/reporting for quality tracking.
Nice to have
- Understanding of QA automation (unit/integration testing for containers).
- Experience with security testing tools or frameworks.
- Familiarity with container-hardening products.
- Familiarity with performance testing of containers and microservices.
- Experience mentoring or technically guiding other engineers
- Hands-on experience in cross-functional team collaboration (Devs, Product, Execs).
- Prior experience spinning up new teams (e.g., helping build out a DevOps QA function from scratch).
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust test infrastructure and automated frameworks for package- and container-image-level testing.
- Establish tooling and processes that elevate the testing standards for packages and images across all development stages.
- Define comprehensive product quality standards and develop tools to enforce them, ensuring consistent and reliable product delivery.
- Implement metrics to measure and demonstrate sustained quality, internally and externally, reporting results for transparency and accountability.
- Offer technical support and mentorship to other team members, sharing your knowledge and experience to enhance the team’s overall capabilities.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product Management, and executive leadership, to innovate, plan, and achieve technical objectives.
