Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Full Stack Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina. Our client is a company that specializes in reverse logistics and sustainability-focused solutions. Its flagship platform is a cloud-based logistics solution that connects shippers, receivers, and carriers to streamline the return and recycling of products, especially IT equipment. The platform offers real-time visibility and reporting capabilities, facilitating the easier management of product returns, refurbishments, and recycling, while promoting environmental sustainability. Focusing on reducing carbon emissions and promoting responsible disposal, the company has successfully processed over two billion pounds of product returns for clients, including major corporations such as Dell, IBM, and General Motors. Headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, the company continues to innovate in sustainable logistics.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of strong multi-disciplinary experience, with a preference for technology consulting and complex business solutions.
- 5-8 years of experience in direct industry development.
- 5+ years of experience with PHP, React, and Python.
- Expertise in full-stack development work in all layers of computer software development, including client-side or front-end, server-side or back-end, database, and operating system.
- Extensive experience with web-based applications and technologies.
- Rapid understanding of support, modification, and enhancement of a complex legacy system.
- Expertise in writing code and delivering solutions quickly.
- Core competencies with the following programming languages and technologies: SQL (MariaDB), RESTful APIs, HTML, CSS, and JSON.
- Experience with the following programming languages and technologies: JavaScript, React Native, jQuery, jQuery UI, Linux (Debian), and Apache.
- Understanding of Agile and Kanban methodologies.
- Familiarity and ability to work with remote-work communication technologies such as Slack and Zoom for discussion, meetings, and screen-sharing.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and organizational skills.
- An adaptable and flexible individual with the ability to thrive in changing situations.
- The ability to deliver on established timelines.
- Comfortable with experimentation, amenable to trying new approaches, and open to alternative methods of execution and delivery.

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical subject matter expert for design, migration, new technologies & standards adoption, and external solution delivery to the software systems and platforms.
- Contribute to the technical architecture and design of the applications.
- Participate in all aspects of complex project delivery, including requirements analysis, software design, development, and implementation.
- Develop new applications and integrations with internal and external systems.
- Enhance and support existing applications and integrations.
- Enhance legacy systems by refactoring existing code.
- Participate in the migration of legacy systems to newer technologies and platforms.
- Constantly find ways to create a clear and measurable degree of separation between the client’s solutions and those of its competitors.
