Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine.

Position Overview

  • This role is ideal for an experienced DevOps engineer specializing in AWS infrastructure automation and Ansible-driven configuration management.
  • The primary focus is on scaling and maintaining large cloud environments, optimizing network automation, and ensuring system reliability.
  • The position requires a deep understanding of AWS networking, expertise in infrastructure as code (Terraform), and experience developing preventive security policies. Additionally, knowledge of ServiceNow for automating incident and change management is highly valuable.
  • As a technical leader, you will collaborate with various IT teams, act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in networking solutions, and drive continuous improvements to enhance system performance and security.

Qualifications

  • Experience setting up and maintaining thousands of servers on AWS (a significant advance if it is for fintech).
  • Strong knowledge of Ansible for automation, configuration, deployment, and overall management.
  • Understanding controlling complex Ansible workflows.
  • Experience developing AWS and Ansible Policies for preventive measures.
  • Understanding ServiceNow for automating incident management, network performance monitoring, and change management workflows.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage AWS Cloud Networking solutions, utilizing Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to drive cloud-based network infrastructure.
  • Automate network tasks and processes using Ansible, streamlining deployment and configuration management.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for in-house network technologies and solutions.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with teams across Technology Operations, Server Group, Desktop Support, Information Security, and Audit.
  • Proactively identify and recommend new projects, improvements, and innovative solutions based on monitoring data, prior experience, and hardware expertise.
