Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Product Designer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Mexico. Our client is an innovative automotive start-up based in Arizona, poised to revolutionize the automotive aftermarket industry. The company provides a diverse range of premium aftermarket parts and upgrades by creating an online marketplace. The platform’s AI assistant partners with users to understand their car preferences and dreams, providing tailored modification suggestions for both performance and aesthetics. The assistant offers expert recommendations on aftermarket brands and upgrades, helping users explore and select the best options for their goals. The solution encourages users to share their builds, experiences, and upgrades, fostering a collaborative environment for automotive enthusiasts. Users can experience AI-driven image generation to visualize potential modifications before making decisions.
You’ll operate like a founding team member, owning design from first principles through final polish. You’ll partner with engineering and product to validate hypotheses, build fast, and refine based on feedback. This environment is where clarity, speed, and care for craft matter deeply.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing consumer mobile products (iOS/Android).
- The highest bar for UX, visual design, and interaction details.
- A strong portfolio of (from 0 to 1) product work that you’ve launched from scratch and learned from iteration.
- Deep focus on interaction, motion, and creating emotionally sticky experiences.
- Demonstrated experience in automotive or real-world use cases.
- A big appetite for feedback to help you make your best work.
- A bravery in solving complex problems within ambiguity and complexity.
- The ability to explain your work and decisions simply and concisely.
- Passion for behavioral design, habit loops, and user psychology.
- The desire to make decisions fast.
- Prototype quickly to validate big ideas and reduce ambiguity.
- Partner with engineers and product managers to define what they build and how they get there.
- Craft every detail of the user journey – from interaction to animation to copy.
- Lead end-to-end product design across iOS and Android, from 0 to 1.
- Turn behavioral insights into sticky, engaging design patterns.
- Rapidly prototype to validate ideas and reduce ambiguity.
- Partner with engineering and product to define what we build and how it works.
- Think holistically about business impact while keeping the user at the center.
- Bring storytelling, motion, or brand flair into their UX practice
