Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Tech Lead/Senior .NET Core Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Romania. Our client is a next-generation self-service direct mail solution, whether someone is a highly sophisticated mailer with more advanced personalization and package variables or requires less complexity in their mail design. They’re reshaping and transforming how organizations think about direct mail, where the power of data, design, and personalization are all available in one centralized cloud-based platform, allowing you to go from data to finished mail in minutes rather than days or weeks.
Daily standups at Slack at 9:30 AM Eastern Time (ET). Max. overlap that can be (rarely) required by the client — 13:00 ET.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Knowledge of the latest version of the .NET ecosystem, including ASP.NET Core 8.0 (MVC & minimal APIs).
- Knowledge of GraphQL (experience with ChilliCream GraphQL platform [HotChocolate) is a plus).
- Experience with ADO.NET.
- Understanding of PostgreSQL – SQL dialect.
- Basic knowledge of Redis (operations, hash set operations, Pub/Sub).
- Experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
- Familiarity with OpenSearch (the fork of ElasticSearch).
- At least an upper-intermediate level of English.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Dapper.
- Knowledge of Golang (including non-commercial).
- Experience with Next.js, React, Apollo client, and MUI.
- Experience with AWS infrastructure (S3, SQS, SNS, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, X-Ray, AWS Lambda).
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Linux-based OSs.
- Basic knowledge of Bash.
Responsibilities
- Support and development of the existing codebase (.NET 8 and Golang).
- Participate in DevOps activities, including writing Docker and Kubernetes specifications for new services ( CTO and architect on client’s side assisted if needed).
- Contribute to front-end development if the candidate has experience with Typescript (it may take nearly 20% of the workload).
- Write unit and integration tests.
