INVITED SPEAKER

Maribeth Rauh, a senior research engineer who spent 6+ years at Google DeepMind in London, after earlier software engineering at Google’s Mountain View campus. She has accepted a research position at a major European university which will be announced in the coming weeks.

Maribeth will open a grounded discussion on intelligence and agency:

  • How diverse forms of human intelligence shape our choices in context.
  • How today’s AI agents summarize and suggest across similar contexts.
  • How to define “knowledge” for humans and machines, and who holds it.
  • How to weigh real concerns against possibilities for exponential benefit.

SPECIAL CHEF

Mark Jankel, founder and Executive Chef at The Food Initiative, will craft a seasonal menu designed for our London dinner.

Mark brings Michelin-level craft and sustainability in equal measure. After cutting his teeth in London’s top kitchens (Head Chef at Notting Hill Brasserie—three AA rosettes, Harden’s Remy award, Harper’s & Queen Chef of the Year nominee), Mark stepped into a pair of Wellington boots to map the UK’s farms firsthand. That journey became The Food Initiative—his principle for sourcing and serving the best British, sustainably grown ingredients.

Expect a menu cooked with care, rooted in place, and built for genuine connection.

This is a private, by-invitation gathering. Capacity is very limited.

Please register to be considered.

Don’t miss a rare combination of a chef-led cultural table and a guided conversation on human flourishing.
