As the world unites to combat the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, Global Citizen, a long-time client of Svitla Systems, and the World Health Organization (WHO) have organized one of the biggest online concerts “One World: Together At Home” in support of the fight against COVID-19, raising over $128 million to support COVID-19 relief efforts.
The concert involved over 100 artists who performed songs from their living rooms, boasting the biggest names in music: The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Billie Eilish, Chris Martin, Elton John, and many more. Lady Gaga, who curated the line-up, called the event "a love letter to the world", dedicating the show to first responders and medical staff. She said the participating musicians all wanted "to give back a little bit of the kindness that you've given us". The eight-hour show also featured real-life stories from those on the front line of the fight against COVID-19.
“One World: Together At Home” was a multi-hour digital broadcast streaming online on multiple global platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, Facebook, Instagram, LiveXLive, TIDAL, TuneIn, Twitch, Twitter, Yahoo, and YouTube. Svitla Systems’ development teams from Ukraine and Mexico were engaged in the process, assuring the smooth running of the broadcast, and were given credit in the “Special Thanks” transmitted during the show.
