Invited Speaker
Dr. Julie Schell is the Assistant Vice Provost of Academic Technology at The University of Texas at Austin, a trusted advisor to Anthropic, and one of the most compelling thinkers working at the intersection of human learning and AI in education today.

With a doctorate from Teachers College, Columbia University, a post-doctoral fellowship in the Mazur Group at Harvard, and positions held at Yale, Stanford, and Columbia, Julie has spent over 25 years studying how people learn and how technology can make that learning better. At UT Austin, she oversees the University's technology-enhanced learning ecosystem and leads studios where students partner with generative AI to design environments that improve how people teach and learn.
In Austin, Julie will open a conversation on what AI is actually doing to education — how it is reshaping the way people learn, what it means to build systems that genuinely serve human development, and what tech leaders can take from the science of learning into the organisations they build. Few people are better placed to ask those questions.
Dinner Chef
Chef Charlie Weintraub will create the evening's menu.
A passionate and creative Executive Chef proudly serving the Austin area, Charlie brings over 15 years of experience in high-end kitchens. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, he honed his craft in top restaurants across New York City and San Francisco — including the Ritz-Carlton and Momofuku — before bringing that refined sensibility home to Texas.
For Good People Dinner, Austin, Charlie will design a menu that is inspired, locally rooted, and tailored for an evening of unhurried conversation — the kind of food that makes everyone want to linger a little longer at the table.

This is a private, by-invitation gathering. Expect an evening of thoughtful conversation, extraordinary food, and a room shaped for meaningful connection.
