WBENC Certified Women-Owned Business

WBENC certification is the most widely recognized women's business certification in the US. Svitla holds it and has appeared twice on the Women Presidents' Organization list of the 50 Fastest-Growing Women-Owned Companies.

About The Certification

SOC 2 is a security audit framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. It evaluates how a The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) is the largest certifier of women-owned businesses in the United States. Certification requires an independent verification process that confirms the business is at least 51% owned, controlled, and operated by a woman or women. A third party reviews the ownership structure, management, and operational control before granting certification.

Svitla Systems is WBENC-certified and has been since the company's early years. Founded and led by Nataliya Anon, Svitla is a company where women's leadership is the structure the business was built on.

Beyond the certification itself, Svitla has been recognized twice by the Women Presidents' Organization on their annual list of the 50 Fastest-Growing Women-Owned and -Led Companies.

The WPO ranking is based on a verified sales growth formula combining percentage and absolute growth, with a minimum revenue threshold of $500,000 per year over five consecutive years.

Benefits For Your Business

Supplier diversity compliance

Many enterprise organizations, especially those working with federal agencies, Fortune 1,000 companies, or publicly traded corporations, have supplier diversity requirements that include spending targets with certified women-owned businesses. Working with Svitla directly satisfies those requirements. The WBENC certification is the standard most procurement teams recognize, and Svitla's is active and verified.

Verified ownership and governance structure

WBENC certification isn't a badge a company applies for by checking a box. The council independently verifies that the business is majority-owned and actively managed by a woman. For clients who need to document their supplier diversity spend accurately, that verification matters: it holds up in an audit and in your own corporate reporting.

Established leadership structure

Svitla has been led by its founder, Nataliya Anon, since 2003. That continuity of leadership has produced a 90% client retention rate, operations across 15 countries, and a team that has grown to 1,000+ engineers.

Documented growth track record

Making the WPO list requires verified revenue growth across multiple consecutive years, not a strong quarter or a one-time contract win. Svitla has appeared on the list twice, during periods when most companies were focused on staying flat.
