Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for an Oracle HCM Lead QA Analyst for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in the USA. Our client is a global engineering, procurement, consulting, and construction company with a more than 100-year track record of innovation in sustainable infrastructure. They offer various services across various industries, including energy, water, telecommunications, government, and environmental markets. Their services include engineering, procurement, construction, consulting, and sustainability solutions. The client is known for its expertise in critical infrastructure projects, particularly energy and water. They work on projects related to power generation, transmission and distribution, renewable energy, water and wastewater treatment, telecommunications, and more. Its services include design-build, program management, civil works, infrastructure development, site evaluation, etc. The company operates globally, with offices and projects in over 100 countries, and has a significant presence in regions such as North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East. The project: The 100% employee-owned company is embarking on a 2-year journey to refresh the HR systems by moving to Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM). We’re seeking a QA Lead with Oracle HCM or experience in a similar ERP system. We need your help to provide leadership for the QA & testing activities on this implementation. You’ll partner with the team members and the System Integrator (SI), helping migrate to HCM to understand business requirements. As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for implementing standard QA/ testing practices and overseeing and/or participating in all aspects of project testing on the HCM implementation project. There is a necessity to work onsite in Overland Park 3 days a week (Wednesday is a mandatory in-office day).

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience leading SIT & UAT testing in Agile/Hybrid environment. 
  • Understanding Oracle HCM Fusion functionality, including Core HR, Benefits, LA, Payroll, Talent Management, and Reports. 
  • Familiarity with Oracle CEMLI/RICEW. 
  • Understanding managing QA activities onshore/offshore through all the testing phases is required. 
  • Knowledge in Data Migration testing, Functional, System Integration, User Acceptance Testing & E2E testing. 
  • Understanding developing test artifacts such as test strategies, test plans, test execution, and test data. 
  • Experience working with business and IT teams to translate functional and non-functional requirements into test cases and scripts. 
  • Experience leading testing activities, conducting test runs and cycles, defect tracking, issue resolution, and leading defect triage meetings. 
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail & documentation skills. 
  • Good knowledge of QA methodologies and processes. 
  • Experience in writing manual tests, executing test runs, SIT & UAT test planning & execution.

Will be a plus:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or Computer Science Degree. 
  • CSTE or ISTQB Certification. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the QA process guidelines are followed.
  • Engage with SI to develop the overall test strategy for the project.
  • Create, maintain, manage, and enforce test plan/strategy.
  • Review requirements, specifications, and design documents.
  • Review the test scripts supplied by SI and coordinate with workstream product owners, business process leads, and business SMEs for review. 
  • Develop test scripts utilizing business requirements/functional documentation & design specifications. 
  • Execute SIT test scripts, record actual results, document, and retest defects.
  • Review Unit/SIT/UAT test results, test cases/results.
  • Participate in the build sprint(s) and SIT activities to ensure defects are triaged, tracked, and dispositioned using the testing tools and methods.  
  • Engage with SI, QA Analyst, & Business Process Leads to outline test plan for each cycle.
  • Partner with Workstream Product Owners, Business Process Leads and Business SMSs to develop UAT test scripts for business scenarios and coordinate UAT execution as well as ensure defects are triaged, tracked, and dispositioned using the testing tools and methods.
  • Provide orientation and tool training (as applicable) to the internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with PM to communicate and document QA-related risks and provide QA status and metrics.
  • Coordinate testing activities, conduct test runs and cycles, and defect-tracking, issue resolution, and lead defect triage meetings.
  • Provide input for Go-NoGo decisions and participate in go-NoGo meetings.
