SENIOR MANUAL/AUTOMATION QA ENGINEER

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior QA Manual/Automation Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina. Our client is a web-based software company that provides business development products and services to the hospitality industry. They help hotels, CVBs, and other venues drive revenue by meeting market intelligence. Powered by the industry’s largest source of historical data on actualized meetings and events, clients’ products enable time-saving tactics for booking better-qualified group business, competitive benchmarking, portfolio revenue-growth strategies, market share gains, increased RevPAR, and group trend forecasting. As a globally recognized meeting and group data provider, they offer extensive insight into market analytics, group industry trends, and robust benchmarking. The technology gives hoteliers the tools to define market potential, target the most profitable group opportunities, increase market share, identify and develop new customers, and gain insight into group characteristics and booking patterns.

Requirements:

  • Proactive, agile, and able to multi-task and reprioritize
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude a plus
  • Ability to clearly document and troubleshoot errors
  • Experience with the Agile methodology and regression testing a plus
  • Understand how to read a test plan and execute test cases
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Solid understanding of browser variations a plus
  • Experience working on large-scale websites is a plus
  • 3+ years of working as a Quality Assurance professional or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in Automation QA
  • Jira, Bugzilla, TestRail, BrowserStack.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute test cases (manual) across web platforms and analyze results
  • Evaluate issues, understand the user's intent and the contributing factors of the issue
  • Write detailed and easy-to-understand bug tickets
  • Verify bug fixes via testing
  • Communicate risks to leads and manager as needed.
